Solar Distillators

In the old days, when the sailors sailed the seven seas, there was a big lack…of water.

Now people have once more used solar power and came up with solar distillators, which  use suns energy to heat up any kind of water, including salt water into pure fresh water. No chemicals, no more salt… nothing but water.

A solar distillator mainly is a kettle for the water, a parabolic mirror, a pipe, and a frame to hold it together. A parabolic mirror is a semicircle mirror or a wooden frame with hundreds of mirror pieces. 2 square metres of sunlight in one spot have the amount of heat as a stove, but there is no need for that much heat, remember we do not want to boil the water in the kettle, we just want to make the water evaporate.

So thats how a solar distillator works.
