Solar Panels and their Foults
All that black stuff you find on solar panels is called photovaltaics. It is the most important part of solar panels - the part that makes electricity. You might have heard that solar panels don’t last for ever. That is so true… but if your panel is not taken good care of; it might not keep generating electricity for you, or heating water for you.
There are a few things you ought to try before climbing to your roof to get your solar panel down to take it to the rubbish dump, and the first thing is to see if the panel has faded from black to white or at least to grey. The next thing to do is check the water pipes or the electric wires (plumber or electrician would do the job the best but not the cheapest) to see if everything is all right. Step 3 would probably be to take the panel to the company that sold it to you and ask for something. On second thoughts step three would probably turn to step 1… You might find lots of that kind of information on the internet.
